Parents Welcome on Charter Bus to San Antonio

Monday, October 31 2005

Director Stan Mauldin has requested that parents not take their students in separate cars to the Bands of America Super Regional contest in San Antonio this Saturday. The band and chaperones will travel as a team, but parents are welcome to ride on the sixth charter bus, departing with the band from Clear Brook at 3:30 a.m. Saturday. The fare is $20 and includes dinner and an afternoon movie. Parents will be responsible for purchasing their own tickets to the Bands of America show and a lunch at the nearby mall, where students will also eat after their 11 a.m. performance. Please contact president BettyAnn Lawrence, blawrence5@houston.rr.com, if you would like to come and cheer for our band!
