Photography Schedule for Tuesday

All band and guard students are to be dressed in full uniform, except for shakos, for the group and individual photos scheduled just before the fall dinner on Tuesday, Nov. 8. Each section should be ready to go at the appointed time:
4 p.m., clarinets and bass clarinets
4:15 p.m., trumpets and French horns
4:30 p.m., flutes and saxophones
4:45 p.m., baritones and trombones
5 p.m., percussion and tubas
5:15 p.m., guard, drum majors
These photos are intended for the yearbook, so students should pose for the section photos with their instruments whether they intend to purchase them or not. Anyone who does not yet have an order form can pick one up in the band hall. Ask the directors for them.

Clear Brook Receives a Division One Rating

Congratulations to the Brook Band for earning a first division rating at the Bands of America (BOA) Super Regional contest in San Antonio. The band did not make it to finals but received some very positive comments from judges.

Performance Schedule Revised

Because of some cancellations, the Bands of America (BOA)San Antonio schedule for Saturday morning has been revised. Clear Brook will now perform at 10:45 a.m. The schedule has been updated on the November newsletter. Audience members, please cheer loudly for our band and wave your signs and towels, because 60 percent of the score is based on "effect," including the effect on the crowd.
