Band Camp This Week

Don't forget, incoming freshmen and veteran band students, summer band camp takes place 8 a.m.-1 p.m., Tuesday through Friday of this week, in the band hall. If you have already had your physical, please bring your purple physical forms to turn in.

Award Winners Announced at Spring Concert

The Clear Brook Band Booster Club awarded six scholarships to deserving seniors at the spring concert Tuesday night. The club awarded $500 each to Alyssa Marsh and Matt Mauldin; $300 each to Julie Berna and Philip McCombs; and $200 each to Katie Scully and Jeff Homick. The booster club also presented the Whitehead award for outstanding parent volunteer to Mike Remore, who as a freshman dad, obtained his commercial driver's license this year and heroically drove the band's big rig to games and competitions.

Next Year's Band Council Elected

Winners of the 2006-07 band council elections were announced at the band banquet Friday night. They are: president - Lauren Teel; vice president - Chris Cromer; secretary/treasurer - Daniel Towey; historians - Nathan Reed and Matt Valentine; junior representative - Shannon Webb; sophomore representative - Hailey Gowan. Incoming freshmen will choose their representative this summer.

2006-07 Drum Majors Announced

Congratulations to Lyndsey Newman, Valerie O'Brien, Amanda Kennedy and Bethany Grosse, who were named 2006-07 drum majors at tryouts on Wednesday.
