Emergency Membership Meeting Called

Tuesday, August 16 2005

The Clear Brook Band Booster Club executive board has called an emergency membership meeting for this Friday, Aug. 19 at 7:30 p.m., immediately following the previously scheduled chaperone training session in the band hall. The purpose of the meeting is to approve the purchase of a truck to pull the band trailer. The truck will be used prior to our first game on Aug. 26 to take the trailer for required inspection and possible repairs. Director Stan Mauldin has located a truck within our affordable price range and has expressed the need to act quickly, but our by-laws require membership approval of such a large expenditure. Our first regularly scheduled booster club meeting is Sept. 6.
