Band Council Car Wash This Saturday

Band council will have a car wash 7:30 a.m.-noon this Saturday, Sept. 30, at Riley's Donuts on Clear Lake City Blvd. Parents who would like to help by working a shift, either 8-10 a.m. or 10 a.m.-noon, please call Kathleen Scharchburg, band council liaison. Students should bring old towels and/or sponges and park on the street next to the strip center so they don't use customer parking spaces.

First Lunch/Bake Sale of the Year on Monday

Don't forget to bring your baked goods to the band hall Monday morning for the lunch/bake sale during the lunch periods in the Commons. Cupcakes should be brought in disposable boxes. Brownies, cookies and marshmallow treats should be packaged two to a sandwich bag, if large, and three to a bag, if small.

Directions to the Game This Week

Here are directions to Pasadena Memorial Stadium for those who have not been able to access them on the Brook football website. To get there, take Beltway 8 North to the Spencer Highway exit in Pasadena. Turn left under the freeway. Continue for 1.4 miles and then turn right on Watters Road. Then make a quick left on Grunewald and another left on Dabney. You can park on the visitors' side.

To access them, click the forms tab. Orders for Brook Band merchandise can be dropped off in the booster club mailbox in the band hall.

Practice at Stadium on Labor Day

The band is rehearsing at District Stadium from 6-9 p.m. on Monday. Parents are responsible for transporting their kids to and from the stadium. The band will be loading the semi-truck at 4 p.m., so the loading crew and all the kids with equipment going on the truck need to be at the band hall at that time to help load.
